Burpees For Strength & Conditioning
My favorite Burpee Routine is a ladder up to 20. Perform 1 rep, rest 5 seconds, 2 reps, rest 5 seconds, 3 reps, rest 5 seconds...all the way to 20 reps.
In the beginning you will not be able to go all the way up to 20 so start off doing as many as you can until you get all the way up to 20. See this video for a look at burpees.

Gladiator style pushups
I like to do my pushups in ladders up to 8 reps. 1, rest 5 seconds, 2, rest 5 seconds, 3, rest 5 seconds, all the way up to 8. Repeat this 5 times for gladiator style pushups. Here are some great pushup variations.
Uneven PUshups
Prop one of your hands on a basket ball or an old tire and go for broke, then switch hands. These can also be performed gladiator style. 5 sets of ladders up to 8 on each hand and then switch to 1 arm pushups.
Once you do enough of these, you will be able to easily crank out a few sets of single arm pushups.

explosive pushups
These are best performed in ladders up to 6 reps. They are called explosive pushups because you explode off the ground and catch air.
This exercise builds huge strength and power.
Be careful, but once you learn the movement, go for freaking broke!
